To Serve with Equal Hand
Were I to come again, as surely I must,
I would not be a sinner or a saint,
But in the unfolding of the soul in form
Ask nothing but to serve with equal hand
The Will of those enlightened ones who came
To plant the Truth within our earthly soil.
What they would choose for me, that I would choose,
A heart conjoined with silent mind to heed
The call that comes unmixed from the Supreme,
The wisdom-splendour and divine decree
